As a PADI Rescue Diver that’s where you step in! You’ll learn techniques for Self Rescue, recognizing and managing stress of other divers, emergency management and equipment. You’ll learn techniques for rescuing panicked and even unresponsive divers.
Classroom work will cover thinking like a Rescue Diver and give you a preview of the skills you’ll practice in open water. You’ll cover Emergency First Responder techniques which are helpful not only in scuba diving but also in real-world emergencies.
In the open water portion of the course you’ll simulate several different emergency situations and put your training to the test. By the end of the course you’ll find that the workout was all worth it!
Come advance your skills and earn a certification as a PADI Rescue Diver
Why PADI Rescue Diver?
One of the most challenging yet rewarding of all PADI Specialty Courses is the Rescue Diver course. Scuba diving has its inherent dangers and while we hope everything goes right all the time, it helps to have trained Rescue Divers on hand to help respond in an emergency situation.
Where can I go from here?
Your PADI Rescue Diver course may count toward your Specialty course at instructor discretion. This Specialty also counts toward your Master Scuba Diver certification. To begin your Rescue Diver training, drop in or contact us today to sign up.
